Mechanical sand production line choose fixed or mobile? Rational choice to improve production efficiency

In the fast-developing modern construction industry, sand and gravel aggregates, as the cornerstone of infrastructure construction, are in increasing demand. Mechanism sand, as an effective supplement to natural sand resources, is favoured for its controllable quality and wide range of sources. The choice of mechanism sand production line is directly related to many aspects such as production efficiency, cost control and environmental adaptability. In this paper, the advantages and disadvantages of fixed and mobile mechanism sand production line will be discussed in depth to provide comprehensive reference for investors and decision makers.

1 Overview

Fixed production lines are production lines that are established at a fixed location and usually require extensive civil engineering work, such as foundation construction and plant erection. This type of production line is suitable for large-scale, long-term stable production environment.

A mobile line is a line that can be quickly moved to different locations depending on production requirements, and usually consists of a number of independently movable units. This type of line is ideally suited to situations where there is a need for frequent changes of location or where the project cycle time is short.

2 Basis for selection

1. From the point of view of applicable scenarios, the stationary production line is more suitable for large-scale engineering projects with stable raw material sources, large production volume and long production cycle. For example, infrastructure construction such as highways, railways, bridges, etc., these projects have huge demand for sand and gravel materials and strict requirements on quality, and the stationary production line can meet these demands. Comparatively speaking, the mobile production line is more suitable for small or medium-sized projects, or uneven distribution of raw materials, geographically remote areas. Urban reconstruction projects, small residential area construction and so on can benefit from the mobile production line.

2. Analysed from the perspective of cost-effectiveness, the stationary production line, despite its large initial investment, has lower production costs in the long term and is suitable for long-term large-scale production. According to statistics, the operating cost of a fixed production line is about 60 to 70 per cent of that of a mobile one. Mobile production lines, on the other hand, although they have an advantage in terms of initial set-up costs, may not be economical in the long term because of the higher costs of transport and equipment maintenance.

3. In an actual case, a large State-owned enterprise chose a stationary mechanism sand production line to support its long-term infrastructure project. By centralising the procurement of high-efficiency equipment and optimising the production process, the project not only ensured production volume and product quality, but also effectively reduced long-term production costs. On the other hand, a company specialising in urban renewal projects has adopted a mobile production line. This enabled them to respond quickly to changes in project locations, and although production costs were higher for individual projects, overall better allocation of resources and cost savings were realised.
